The
Association Lorraine Etats-Unis honors the actions of
Mathieu Gitzhofer
On
November 18, 2006, during the ceremonies of the 62nd
Anniversary of the Liberation of Metz by the American Army
and in the name of association Lorraine Etats-Unis,
presided by Mrs Nieser, the General Faugère, Military
Governor of Metz, gave to Mathieu Gitzhofer, in the Living
rooms of the Town hall of Metz, a Testimony of
Satisfaction particularly to honor him for his actions in
the goal to keep friendship between Lorraine and the
United States of America.

Gitzhofer (webmaster of the Virtual Museum), during the
handing-over of Testimony of Satisfaction, with Mrs Nieser
(president of the Association Lorraine Etats-Unis) and the
General Faugere (Military Gouvernor of Metz).
