The
Veterans
It
is very often young men, just out of boyhood, only 18 to
20 years old, who fought in France between 1944 and 1945.
This war was won thanks to them. This History is not only
one of dates
and places, but of ordinary people who performed
extraordinary acts. The soldiers who you will meet on
these next pages risked or gave their lifes during the
last century to allow us to live free
in this century. By reading their testimonies, you will
understand that Freedom has a price.
(And this price is not cheap).
