the attention of the veterans
Dear Iron Men of Metz,
This web site has as its ambition to preserve the History
of the 95th Infantry Division, but especially to honor the
memory of the veterans from this unit. Indeed, the History
is not only one just of dates and places, but of ordinary
people who made extraordinary acts. All the soldiers of
the 95th Infantry Division risked or gave their life in
the last century to allow us to live in this century.
That's why you
will understand that it is essential to relate your
experiences to future generations so that they do not
forget why you fought...
You thus have, thanks to this web site, the possibility to
obtain a personal page where it will be possible for you
to express you freely, to explain your impression on the
war, etc... (See the Part "Veterans").
It is enough for you simply to contact me of sending a
summary of your career to me accompanied by photographs,
or documents, personal effects... (All the documents will
be immediately referred to you after their exploitation if
you specify it!)
The descendants of veterans now deceased can also profit
from this advantage and can create a page to the memory of
their ancestor.
